A personal media library and player for iPhone.

Collect what interests you. Find a title. Compare the ways you can play it. Watch in a capable player, download it for later, or cast it to your TV.

The public iPhone beta is available — see the install guide.

Library

Different inputs. One visual language.

4789 starts empty. Add only the catalogs, lists, and files you choose. Everything arrives as the same browsable library instead of a collection of unrelated service screens.

Compatible catalogsAdd a compatible manifest or install URL inside 4789.
LetterboxdEnter a public profile to bring its lists and film activity into 4789.
MDBList & TraktBrowse public collections, sync your watchlist, and curate feeds like Korean cinema.
Files and downloadsImport local media from Files or USB-C, keep completed downloads, and watch offline.

Discover

Choose a shelf. Search directly. Or wander.

Home keeps Continue Watching, collections, local media, live television, downloads, and the sources you added within one composed view. The Wall turns those catalogs into an expanding field of posters when browsing is the point.

  • Search across the library
  • Ratings and reviews on the title
  • Seasons, cast, and recommendations
  • The Wall for poster-first exploration

From title to play

Compare the source details that are available.

Open a title to see context first. When you are ready, 4789 shows the playable options returned by the compatible services you connected. A ready option can lead; the full source view remains one tap away.

Actual source availability comes from your connected services.

Player

Made for watching, not merely opening a file.

The in-app player keeps its most-used controls direct and lets the rest stay nearby without covering the picture.

Audio and subtitles

Choose tracks, search for subtitles, adjust timing, and change text size, font, color, and position.

Playback control

Seek quickly, change speed, fill the screen, inspect playback, and switch to another source.

Keep it moving

Continue audio in the background where supported. Open in another installed player when you prefer it.

Watch later

Download a selected source into 4789, track its progress, and play the saved file without starting over.

Files and downloads

Your own files belong here too.

Import from Files, iCloud, or connected USB-C storage, match local media to its title, and keep downloaded films and episodes inside the same library. Completed downloads can play in 4789 or open in another player.

More to find

Useful depth, kept out of the way.

Regional cinema catalogs, the Wall, Cover Flow, interactive rating wheels, Surprise Me discovery, and Easter eggs are there to explore. None of them interrupts the central path from library to title to playback.

The public beta is available.
